Pomodoro Technique Timer ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Pomodoro Technique Timer Chrome extension. This Privacy Policy comprehensively discloses what data the extension collects, how it is used, how it is stored, how long it is kept, and every party it is shared with.
The following is stored on your device using Chrome's storage API and is not transmitted to us:
Your task names, task contents, and productivity statistics never leave your device.
The extension does communicate with external servers in the specific cases below. This section describes every such case.
What: A randomly generated identifier ("device ID"). It is created by the extension, is not derived from your hardware, browser profile, Google account, or any personal information, and cannot be used to identify you personally.

Why: To keep a running timer consistent across your devices and to check whether a Pro licence applies to this installation.
What: The email address associated with your Pro purchase, plus your device ID.

Why: To verify and activate your Pro entitlement. Sent only if you own or are activating Pro.
What: If you choose to purchase Pro, you are directed to Stripe's hosted checkout. Payment card details are entered on Stripe's own pages and are never seen, processed, or stored by the extension or by us.
Where: Stripe, Inc. (Stripe Privacy Policy).
Why: To process payment. We receive only confirmation of purchase and the associated email address.
What: Your email address, and a label indicating which page you submitted it from.
Where: sendsimple.site, our email delivery service.
Why: To send the resource you requested and occasional product notes. This is transmitted only when you type your email address into a form and submit it. You can unsubscribe from any message.
What: The star rating you select, any written message you choose to type, the extension name and ID, and a timestamp. No device ID or email address is attached.
Where: peakproductivity.online, operated by us.
Why: To act on user feedback. Transmitted only when you actively submit the feedback form.
What: On our own upgrade and pricing web pages (not inside the extension interface), we record referral and campaign parameters present in the page address (such as UTM values, click identifiers, referring page, and page path) together with the device ID.
Where: peakproductivity.online, operated by us.
Why: To understand which marketing sources lead to purchases. This does not read your browsing history; it reads only the address of our own page you are currently viewing.
What: If you uninstall the extension, Chrome opens a feedback page on our website. Your device ID may be included in that page address.
Why: To offer an optional feedback form. Completing it is entirely voluntary.
What: The extension downloads a list of our other extensions to display. This is a download only; no information about you is sent. As with any web request, our server receives the IP address that made it.

The extension holds only the storage and notifications permissions, which do not grant access to browsing activity.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We do not share it with advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics resellers. We do not use your data to build advertising profiles. Beyond the three parties named above, your data is shared with no one, except where we are legally required to disclose it by valid legal process.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any data we hold about you by contacting us at the address in section 10. You may unsubscribe from email at any time using the link in any message. You can clear all local data by uninstalling the extension. Under the GDPR and the CCPA you also have the right to obtain a copy of your data, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.
This extension is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above and, for material changes affecting how your data is handled, provide notice within the extension.
